Bomet East MP Beatrice Kones’ son dies

The family of Bomet East MP Beatrice Kones is mourning the death of her son Collins Kipyegon.

Reports indicate that the 39-year-old was rushed to the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital after he became unconscious.

He was reportedly taken to the Intensive Care Unit but later pronounced dead.

It is expected that a postmortem will be conducted to determine what killed him.

Citizen Digital has established that MP Kones is out of the country but cut short her trip after receiving the tragic news of her son.

The body of the deceased is currently at the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital funeral home where family members have arrived.

Nakuru Deputy OCPD Daniel Kitavi however declined to comment on the matter saying he had no information.
