Boniface Mwangi and Ezekiel Mutua in Twitter war of words

It was a busy Friday for chairman of the Kenya Film Classification Board Ezekiel Mutua and activist Boniface Mwangi who spent better part of the day trading jabs at each other.

Trouble started after Mwangi said Mutua should be banned for “studpidity” and the latter did not take it lying down.

This was after the classification board tweeted a report dismissing as false, news that it had banned Sauti Sol’s new song Melanin saying it has only submitted it for classification after  the “board received a deluge of public concerns and complaints on its appropriateness for children”.

The former Starehe MP contender took to his Twitter to respond to the report by saying “Someone should ban Ezekiel Mutua Stupidity”.

In less than an hour, Mutua, who was at Kisii University giving a public lecture blasted Mwangi for his failure to clinch a seat in the August 8 General election blaming it on his “infantile thinking and juvenile delinquency”.

Mwangi however continued with the confrontation throwing accusations at the chairman branding him a “thief”  who stole his TV in 2005 during the Kenya Union of  Journalists (KUJ) award then fled the country.

It was at this moment that Mutua decided to block Mwangi and this really got his goat and he lashed out even more.
