BOXING: Manny Pacquiao Sued over Allegedly Concealing Shoulder Injury

BOXING: Manny Pacquiao Sued over Allegedly Concealing Shoulder Injury

The lawsuit was filed hours after Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) claimed that Pacquiao lied about his shoulder injury after his loss to Mayweather.

NAC stated that Pacquiao did not indicate that he had a problem on a pre-fight questionnaire

In his post-match statement, Pacquiao blamed his loss to a shoulder injury he allegedly sustained three weeks prior to the fight in training, which stopped him from using his right hand properly.

Pacquiao said he was upfront about his injury and had agreed on a treatment plan.

If the Filipino is found guilty, the penalty for perjury could be a jail sentence of one to four years and a fine of up to USD5,000.
