Boy, 11, arrested after elder brother stabbed to death at Upendo in Nakuru

An 11 year old boy was arrested after he allegedly stabbed and killed his 15-year-old brother in Upendo, Nakuru County.

Nakuru County Nyumba Kumi chairperson Evans Ekaliche said the two had come from their rural home where they had gone to visit their relatives.

There was a quarrel between the two boys but what led to the altercation is yet to be established.

The 11 year old reportedly got hold of a knife and stabbed his elder brother.

Concerned neighbors who heard the fracas rushed to the scene and managed to take the injured boy to Nakuru Nursing Home.

He was however pronounced dead on arrival.

The body has been moved to Nakuru Municipality morgue while the suspect is being held at a children correctional center within Bondeni Police Station.
