Bullet Removed From Baby Osinyas Head

This is after neurosurgeons at Kenyatta National Hospital conducted a delicate procedure of removing the bullet from the baby Osinya's head.

A team of 12 neurosurgeons at the hospital conducted the procedure that lasted a total of three hours.

According to the surgeons, the baby is now out of danger as everything had gone as planned during the operation.

Baby Osinya was shot in the head during a terror attack at Joy In Jesus Church in Likoni two weeks ago.

Six people died while 20 others were injured in the early morning attack on the church.

Three gunmen stormed the church and opened fire at worshippers leading to the casualties.

Osinya was hurt when the gunmen shot at his mother, killing her as she tried to protect the one and half year old boy.

The boy was airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatment after two days.

He was however not treated immediately as the surgeons had to wait for the wound to heal first before embarking on the delicate procedure of removing the bullet from the head.
