Burial plans for Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama announced

The late Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama will be buried on Thursday, December 24.

The burial committee announced that the late governor will be buried at his rural home in Tente village, Nyamira county.

An inter-denominational prayer service will be held at Nyamira Primary School grounds on Wednesday the 23rd.

In the meantime, the Council of Governors led by its chairman Wycliffe Oparanya on Sunday visited the family of the late Governor at their Karen home in Nairobi to condole with his family following his sudden death on Friday.

During the session with the family, governors reminisced moments shared with the late governor who they termed calm, respectful and diligent.

The 74-year-old governor died at the Nairobi Hospital in what doctors say was a COVID-19 related death.
