Businessman Buzekis assets to be sold to recover Ksh.118M debt
A company allegedly owned by former Uasin Gishu Governor aspirant and businessman Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki will see its assets sold to recover a Ksh.118 million debt after defaulting.
In a ruling dated June 13, 2019 Judge Msagha Mbogholi ordered the complainant, Landmark Port Conveyors, to liquidate the Ksh.118 million sum by collecting monthly installments of three million shillings from Buzeki Enterprises Limited
The ruling revealed that after Buzeki Enterprises agreed to pay the debt by monthly installments, only a fraction has actually been settled to date.
Buzeki’s company has been fighting to save its properties, which are now set to go on sale to recover the multi-million-shilling debt.
The firm which deals in haulage is reported to have lucrative tenders to ferry goods for some international institutions.
