Buy your ticket to Canaan, Raila urges supporters
National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga on Friday said that the opposition coalition is ready for meetings with Jubilee and the electoral commission to end impasse on fresh poll preparations.
Speaking at Okoa Kenya offices, Nairobi, Raila stated that NASA will only attend the joint stakeholder meeting if President Uhuru Kenyatta will attend.
While calling for President Kenyatta’s resignation from office, Raila urged him against what he termed as imposing himself against the will of the people.
CAMPAIGN FUNDS APPEAL
In a rare twist of events, the NASA presidential candidate has appealed for financial support from his supporters in a bid to facilitate campaigns for the opposition ahead of the repeat polls.
“Every coin that is contributed will count. Contribute Sh10, Sh100, Sh1000, Sh1m, whatever you can afford, every cent matters in this exercise,” said Raila.
Raila warned that the internal wrangles at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission as a dangerous since the country has to hold the fresh presidential poll next month.
