Cabinet Secretaries defend gov’t service delivery
Three Cabinet Secretaries have defended President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development record, amid accusations of neglecting his Mt. Kenya political bedrock.
The trio; Mwangi Kiunjuri, James Macharia and Joe Mucheru said the government had in the last 6 years initiated key development projects in road infrastructure, electricity and water across the country worth billions of shillings.
They were addressing mourners in Ol-Moran Ward, Laikipia County during the funeral service of the late Mzee Samuel Kirogo Kamau, father to Public Service Commission Chairman Stephen Kirogo.
Other speakers during the service, including governors who rooted for a revenue sharing formula that prioritizes population.
