Receiving terror funding money

Last week, the government moved to starve local terror networks, after ordering the freezing of 86 bank accounts of individuals and institutions suspected to be funding terrorism activities in the country.

The funds, according to initial investigations were also being used to finance the recruitment and radicalisation of youths from the Coast, Nairobi and North Eastern regions.

Mohamed Kuno popularly known as Gamadhere tops the list of persons whose bank accounts have been frozen.

Gamadhere is the prime suspect in the Thursday dawn terror attack at Garissa University College that claimed 142 lives…

The government has placed a sh. 20 million bounty on Gamadhere’s head.
