Canter ferrying petroleum bursts into flames

The vehicle was ferrying fuel to a mobile service provider’s transmitters before it caught fire.

The incident caused panic as locals feared that the fire could spread to nearby shops and residential buildings.

It took the intervention of the county fire fighting personnel to contain the fire.

The incident caused traffic snarl up along the busy road as locals and fire fighters battled with the inferno. The vehicle, a canter, was also reduced to ashes.
