Chief hits mans private parts, renders him impotent

A couple in Kiptere Location of Sigowet-Soin Constituency in Kericho County are seeking justice after the man, Samuel Kimutai, was allegedly hit in his private parts by the area chief, rendering him impotent.

According to Kimutai, 35, a letter from the area chief David Kirui dated May 20, 2015 requested him to report to the office to give clarification about his relative’s worker who had run away.

It was upon arrival at the office that the incident took place where it is alleged that the chief, in the company of two other assistants, tied his hands and give him a thorough beating.

In addition to the beating, Kimutai claims that his legs were pulled apart before he was hit in his private parts, an action he says has rendered him impotent.

The father of five now claims that an original medical report and an X-Ray photo have confirmed his impotence.

Kimutai says he cannot fulfill his marital duties to his young wife, adding that he would appreciate any financial assistance to settle medical bill since he and his wife are both casual labourers.

Betty Bii, his wife, now says that at 30 she is too young to stop giving birth.

Area residents condemned the action by the chief who they described as highhanded.
