Children Living With Deformities Ostracized

Children born with deformities have been more often than not driven into a life of seclusion and in some cases forced to live as outcasts in parts of Marsabit County. Some parents have even resorted to hiding their affected young ones for fear of stigmatization by society. But as Pheona Kenga reports, there is hope for over 40 such children who have been rescued from seclusion and stigma and who are now rebuilding their lives at a home run by Catholic Sisters in the Diocese of Marsabit.
