Christmas cheer as Passaris, Keroche donate fruits, plenty of beer to the elderly
Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris on Wednesday teamed up with Keroche Breweries to spread some much-needed Christmas cheer to elderly people.
Taking to Twitter, Passaris stated that she – alongside the beer distiller – visited the Little Sisters Of the Poor home in Kasarani where they distributed fruits, vegetables and beer.
According to their website, Little Sisters Of the Poor is a home for senior citizens which hosts at least 72 elderly people aged between 72 to 106.
Other elderly people also visit the home on a daily basis to bathe, change their clothes and have meals.
We then crossed over to Little Sisters Of the Poor in Kasarani where we gave out fruits and vegetables and then plenty of beer donated by @KerocheBrewery to the old. All in all, its been a great Christmas. My heart is full. #MerryChrismas https://t.co/L2YQ606eXY pic.twitter.com/yIOZxmyrl9

Prior to visiting the home, Passaris had earlier visited the Spinal Injuries Hospital where “we served fried chicken, chips and soda to all patients and staff on duty.”
She urged the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) to make it mandatory for all Public Service Vehicles (PSV) drivers to do community work at the hospital.
A Christmas Day well spent; First, at The Spinal Injuries Hospital where we served fried chicken, chips and soda to all patients and staff on duty. How I wish @ntsa_kenya made it mandatory for all PSV Drivers to do community work at this hospital. #MerryChrismas pic.twitter.com/508RmBJU56
