CID bosses reshuffled

CID director Ndegwa Muhoro has announced changes of county CID bosses in Garissa, Mandera and Wajir counties among other areas in a move aimed at taming rising violent crime and terrorism.

Former Head of Anti-Terror Police Unit Boniface Mwaniki is now new Garissa County CID Commander, Said Baruk will command Mandera County while Keri Nyawida will command Wajir.

Festus Malinge moves from Kisii to Busia County, Francis Kilonzo from the Bomb Disposal Unit to Tharaka Nithi County, John Otieno to Nyamira and Stephen Chacha to Murang’a.

The new Bomb Disposal Unit Boss is Eliud Langat.

Onesmus Towett has been moved from Kwale to CID headquarters, while Amos Teben is new Kisii County CID commander.

Makadara CID Boss William Nanguli replaces Ndumba Thangalan in Mombasa as Thangalan moves to the CID headquarters and Issa Mohamed will now head the Anti Terror police unit.
