City lawyers’ family dies in road crash after his death

The wife, child and cousin of a city lawyer Geoffrey Oriaro, who successfully petitioned the National assembly to remove the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) chair Mumo Matemu, died in a road crash in Nakuru on Wednesday.

The death of the three came just weeks after lawyer Oriaro was found dead at a Mombasa hotel.

Hotel employees said Oriaro’s body was found in a swimming pool with no injuries.

Oriaro was among lawyers who had attended a conference at Diani.

He is known for his successful petition to remove EACC chairman and his deputy Irene Keino.
