Class 7 boy falls from bicycle, is run over by trailer in Ndori

A 13-year-old boy was run over by a trailer at Ndori trading center, Rarieda on the Kisumu – Bondo Road.

Master Elly Ayiecho was a Class 7 pupil at God-Bondo primary school in Homa Bay.

He is said to have fallen on the road while riding a bicycle.

According to Mr. Maurice Omondi, the North Ramba Assistant Chief, the boy was headed towards the same direction as the trailer.

He reportedly attempted to cross the road in front of the trailer but fell off.

The administrator said the boy’s body has been moved to Bondo sub-county hospital mortuary for postmortem.

He urged road users to observe traffic rules to avert such deaths.
