Class 7 pupil killed by speeding vehicle on Nakuru-Eldoret Highway
A Class Seven pupil died on Thursday morning after he was hit by a speeding vehicle on the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway in Koibatek Sub-county, Baringo County.
The boy, who was a pupil at Kiplongon Primary school, was crossing the road when he was knocked down and died on the spot.
Mumberes Sub-location Assistant Chief Nicholas Rotich said the unknown vehicle sped off after the incident. He, however, assured that investigation were underway to trace the vehicle.
The body of the boy was taken to Eldama-Ravine Hospital Mortuary.
