Class 8 pupil allegedly defiled by teacher in Nyeri

Parents of a Class 8 pupil who was allegedly defiled by a teacher in school are demanding arrest of the suspect.

The mother of the 15-year-old narrated how she received a phone call from Slope View Academy.

The school matron told her that her daughter was crying uncontrollably but would not tell the teachers what was wrong.

On arrival at the school, the girl revealed that the teacher allegedly defiled her and then fled.

According to the mother, the girl was extremely traumatized only counseling may help her cope with the situation.

The incident that apparently occurred on Monday has been reported to the police.

The mother was speaking to Citizen TV at Narumoru Police Station on Monday.
