Class Six pupil dies after beating by teacher in Makueni

A Class Six pupil in Kibwezi, Makueni County has been confirmed dead after he was allegedly beaten by his teacher at school.

The 15-year-old boy at Mikuyuni Primary was rushed to Kibwezi AMREF hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to Kibwezi Sub-County Police Commander Ben Changulo, investigations into the incident are underway.

Chagulo further added that a postmortem to ascertain the cause of death has been scheduled.
