Coffin with note demanding Ksh.1M dumped at former LSK President’s home

Residents of Ang’orom Ward in Teso South, Busia County were left in shock on Monday after unknown people dumped a coffin at the home of former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Kenneth Akide.

The small-size coffin with a cross on the top had been placed near the fence of the home, with residents milling around the area to witness.

According to workers at the home, who spoke with Citizen Digital, inside the coffin was a note demanding Ksh.1 million from Akide, failure to which he should move out of the area.

Police who arrived at the scene moved the coffin to Adungosi Police Station as investigations into the incident continue.

Kenneth Akide was the LSK President from 2010 to 2012.
