Convict, Form Two student and stab wounds: Murder most foul

A 23-year-old man allegedly stabbed a Form Two student to death at Sinderma, Gem sub-county on Monday.

Residents found the body of the 15-year-old girl in a bush.

The suspect, identified as Fredrick Onyango Akula, is said to have lured the girl to the bush and stabbed her severally times.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, area chief Barrack Olo said the man left behind a note next to the body.

In the note, the man allegedly professes his love for the deceased who was a student at Sirembe Secondary School.

He has since gone missing.

According to the chief, the suspect had just been released from the Siaya G.K Prison a few days ago.

This was after he was arrested and charged with defiling the same girl.

Police are on the hunt for the man who is still at large.

The body of the Form Two student has been moved to Yala Sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
