Cop arrested over rape allegations

A police officer attached to Rongo police station accused of raping a 21-year-old student of Jaramogi Odinga Oginga University has been arrested.

According to Rongo OCPD, Kisaka Muganda, the police officer will be arraigned in court soon to face rape charges.

Muganda says the student claims the incident happened after she was lured into the police officer’s house on Tuesday, July 4 night until by the policeman but she managed to escape and reported the matter to police Wednesday evening in company of her parents.
