Cops nab 2 who robbed Indian man Ksh.453k after luring him to Imara Daima from a dating site

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two robbery-with-violence suspects in Imara Daima, Nairobi.

The two, sleuths say, extorted Ksh.453,000 from an Indian national after luring him to Muimara, Imara Daima through an online dating site.

Detectives in an intelligence-operation pounced on the suspects at House 114 in the said estate on Saturday.

Bernard Mbusu (the house owner) and David Moses Limiri fled from the cops by scaling and jumping over the perimeter wall.

Six mobile phones, a PDQ machine from Co-operative Bank, assorted ATM cards, Co-operative bank Agent book among other items were recovered during the operation.

The two suspects who were arrested are in police custody awaiting their arraignment in court; the hunt for the two who escaped is ongoing.
