CORD Co-Principal Wetangula Calls for IEBC Overhaul

The opposition CORD is insisting on an overhaul of the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ahead of the 2017 general election. Opposition co-principal Moses Wetangula says the appointment of Ezra Simiyu as the commission’s new chief electoral officer was not satisfactory, and that commissioners who call the shots at iebc must be sent packing before Kenyans return to the polls.
