CORD Files Case To Reverse Lenaola’s Ruling

The CORD coalition through their lawyer Anthony Aluoch filed the case that seeks to object the orders earlier given by Justice Isaac Lenaola

Lenaola had in his ruling said that the Saba Saba rally would go on as planned but warned CORD Principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula that they will be held personally responsible for any ensuing chaos and criminal activities.

The opposition has however opposed this move and wrote to the Chief Justice Willy Mutunga to protest Lenaola’s ruling.

CORD says that Lenaola’s ruling contravenes their constitutional right to assembly.
