CORD supporters throng Uhuru Park for Madaraka Day rally
The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) supporters have expressed optimism that Wednesday’s rally at Uhuru Park will be peaceful despite the huge police presence.
The supporters, who started arriving at the venue for the opposition’s planned meeting as early as 8am, chanted pro-CORD slogans and carried banners and placards with messages shwoing their support for their leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses wetangula.
