CORD too disorganized to lead DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto now says the opposition Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) is too disorganized to be trusted with the leadership of this country.

Addressing a public rally in Tana River Monday, August 22, Ruto said that CORD is not ready to lead the country since it has not yet put its house in order.

He said that unlike CORD, the Jubilee administration has already settled on its presidential candidate for the 2017 elections.

He called on the residents of Tana River to vote for the Jubilee administration saying that it has had a comprehensive development agenda that will lift them from the bondage of poverty.

The DP told the residents that by voting for Jubilee, they are assured of being in the next government and will benefit from its projects.

Earlier on, Ruto had inspected the Fayya Technical Training Institute, which is under construction and will cost the government approximately Ksh 100 million, saying that empowering the youth and women was top of Jubilee’s agenda.

He also said that the government has already awarded tender for the Bura Irrigation scheme that is set to benefit the residents through employment and ensuring food security in the country.
