Househelp tried to breastfeed employers 2yr-old, infect him with HIV court told

A househelp has been arraigned at a Nyeri court after she was caught on camera attempting to breastfeed her employer’s 2-year-old child.

The court heard that Catherine Mbuyuka was on Monday caught on CCTV camera cradling her employer’s baby and trying to breastfeed him.

In the disturbing CCTV footage seen by Citizen Digital, the woman is seen dressed in a blue tee-shirt and black skirt.

The three-minute-long clip shows the 20-year-old woman holding the toddler on her lap and giving him her breast to feed on.

In what has shocked residents of Kiganjo in Nyeri, the court also heard that the woman is HIV positive and was attempting to infect the young boy with the virus.

Appearing before Magistrate JM Macharia, the woman was also accused of fondling the little boy on several occasions.

She was released on a Ksh.300,000 cash bail pending the mention of her case on March 27.
