

Interior CS Fred Matiangi has assured the country that the government will seek a lasting solution to road carnage in the country.

Matiangí said the number of people who have lost lives in roads is way too much and should never happen again in future.
He was speaking when he led a funds drive for the purchase of a bus for Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Borabu subcounty branch,.
The CS further stated that the Ministry of Transport and the Interior Coordination will come together and ensure roads safety.
On security, he noted the challenges that Borabu subcounty has been experiencing citing incidents such as cattle rustling which he said the government will deal with.
