Daring Robber Shot Dead In Eldoret

The deceased was in the company of two others who were trying to raid the police station when they police opened fire.

The gangsters had allegedly looted some electronics and were trying to escape through a thicket behind the station buildings.

The robbery is said to have taken place at around 3 am.

The thugs broke into the anti-terror police office and stole a fax machine and some plain clothes. 

Eldoret West OCPD Smolets Munyanzi said that the gang could have been the one that earlier stole a laptop from the station.

Munyanzi said that he received a call from his officers and was told that some three men had gained access to the station.

The stolen goods were later recovered at a thicket around the station.
