Embu security boss orders strip clubs shut down

Embu North Deputy County Commissioner Jeremiah Tumo has ordered the closure of strip clubs in the County.

According to Tumo, police have already submitted a list of the bars running these activities saying that it will be shared with all security teams within the county in a bid to hasten the closure.

Speaking during Madaraka Day celebrations in Kairuri grounds in Embu, Tumo called for concerted efforts from all levels of  leadership saying that this will help ensure that residents are not exposed to such social ills.

The county deputy boss further noted that licences have in the past been issued without proper vetting saying that more a serious scrutiny will be carried out before any licence is issued.
