

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday foiled a fake gold syndicate, arresting two Nairobi businessmen who swindled a foreigner.
During the stint operation, they seized four metal boxes containing fake gold nuggets, assorted stamps and gold smelting equipment.
The two suspects are directors of Airlink Freight Limited and had promised a Burkina Faso citizen that they could sell him gold.

Detectives have appealed to the public who may have fallen victim to the con job to report the matter at DCI’s serious crime unit complex on Kiambu road.
