Kenya Pipeline boss Joe Sang summoned over Ksh.1.8B scandal

Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti has summoned Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Managing Director Joe Sang, Board Director John Ngumi alongside five other officials to record statements over the Ksh.1.8 billion Kisumu oil jetty scandal.

Other officials summoned include Major Neepe Itasayon (Chair, Board Technical Committee), Faith Boinett (Former Chair, Board Finance Committee), Jerry Simu (Former Chair, Board Audit), as well as the managers of the Infrastructure and Finance departments.

The Manager, Department of Infrastructure, is expected to appear at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu road on Thursday at 10am while his Finance counterpart will also appear on the same day at 2:30pm.

Mr. Sang will appear on Friday at 10am while Mr. Ngumi, Mr. Itasayon, Ms. Boinett and Mr. Simu will all appear on Monday.
