DCI resumes issuance of good conduct certificates

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday resumed the issuance of certificates of good conduct promising to serve at least 600 Kenyans daily.

According to the George Kinoti-led team, clients will be served at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road from 7am to 4pm.

However, all services will be in strict conformity to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The investigative agency hence urged Kenyans to book an appointment on the e-Citizen online portal first indicating the date and time they would like to be attended to.

“Only those with appointments and who arrive at the designated time will be allowed past the gate. So far we have over 37,751 pending applications which we intend to process expeditiously,” said the DCI.

DCI on March 16, 2020 suspended the issuance of certificates of good conduct as part of measures aimed at reducing the spread of coronavirus in the country.
