Defence Refutes Witness’s Claims, Submits Sang Preached Peace

The 26th witness in the case against Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Sang told the International Criminal Court that he admired journalist Joshua Arap Sang for his powerful use of Kalenjin idioms and metaphors to pass a coded message to indigenous Kalenjins without those who were non Kalenjin understanding the hidden meaning. The witness suggested that this was meant to incite the community without raising alarming signals.
