Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu arrested

Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu was on Tuesday afternoon arrested over corruption allegations.

Justice Mwilu was picked up at the Supreme Court by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over alleged transactions involving the collapsed Imperial Bank.

She was taken to DCI headquarters for questioning.

DPP Noordin Haji has called for a press conference to address the issue.
