DP Ruto to Raila: Do not run away, you are part of Jubilees failure

Deputy President William Ruto has told the Orange Democratic Movement to take responsibility for the government’s failure to meet its development agenda.

Speaking in Karen where he met county assembly members from Mandera, Ruto told ODM leader Raila Odinga that he cannot run away from the failures by the government in achieving the Big Four agenda.

The second-in-command said Raila’s party ODM was part and parcel of the government for the last three years, through the handshake.

“They pushed their way into the government through the handshake, they took over committees in parliament, they took over the running of government, three years down the line because they have failed miserably, they now want to run away from their own failure,” DP Ruto said.

DP Ruto’s retort was in retaliation to ODM sentiments that DP could not purport to leave the government that he has been part of since 2013.

Speaking in Kayole on Saturday, Raila invited DP Ruto to explain Jubilee’s slew of broken promises, among them, the school-laptops project and the ultra-modern stadia across the nation.

He said that his critics were reffering to him as ‘analogue’ but they were yet to deliver the state-of-the-art promises they made in 2013.
