Detectives probe alleged rape of 3 girls at Moi Girls Nairobi

Police in Nairobi have launched a probe into the alleged rape of  three girls at Moi Girls Nairobi Secondary school.

According to the police, the affected girls were taken to Nairobi Women’s hospital where test results confirmed that the girls were violated.

Police sources further indicate that the girls may have been attacked at around 2am in an area between their dormitories and their bathrooms.

Police are now looking into how the attackers got into the school compound or whether they are people who work within the school.

Earlier in the day, students are reported to have held protests within the school demanding protection.

Some concerned parents were seen walking into the school compound after they got wind of the alleged incident.

Detectives from Kilimani police station and Nairobi County police headquarters are leading the probe.
