Dishonourable House

Parliament is now conceeding that persistent allegations of bribery among chairpersons and members of various house committees is tainting the image of the National Assembly and casting doubts on its credibility to play the oversight role. House Speaker Justin Muturi wants the committees to carry out their work more transparently, and submit reports in time to limit opportunities for influence peddling and rent seeking.
