Do Not Devolve Education, Leaders Say

Kesses constituency MP James Bett has asked the government to pay teachers and stop thinking of devolving education.

Bett said education is key to the future of the country and noted that many sectors that were devolved are doing badly.

Uasin Gishu county senator Isaac Melly said the national government should improve education in the country as well as increase the uwezo and CDF funds.

The leaders were speaking during the launch of Kesses constituency uwezo fund, where 8 million shillings was issued to 82 registered groups.
