Do you know their parents? Two young survivors of Emali accident stranded

Two pupils from a Nairobi school are stranded at the Kilome Nursing Home after surviving the grisly Emali road accident that claimed the lives of nine people.

The two boys, identified as Martin Macharia (Class 5) and Godfrey Gathii (Class 3) from Born Free School in Githurai were travelling to Mombasa for a school trip when the accident happened.

They are seeking assistance in tracing their way back home to their families.

They are said to have been in the company of their teacher Jane Wanjiru and another pupil when their bus collided head-on with a lorry and burst into flames killing nine and injuring 20.

Though the fate of the teacher and other pupil is still unknown, the two are said to be in stable condition and are recuperating at Kilome Nursing Home in Emali.

According to Macharia, his father is Josephat Waweru while Gathii’s mother is known as Catherine Nyokabi.

Police are requesting for any persons who can help reunite the boys with their parents to contact Kilome Nursing Home where the boys are recovering.
