150 students from Senior Chief Koinange High School in Kiambu have been left without accommodation after fire gutted a dormitory.

The inferno broke out at around 4:45 am while some students were having breakfast and others were in class for morning sessions.

Villagers reportedly entered the school to help put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to the lower ground dormitory.
