Dormitory razed at Kabianga Boys High School
Property of unknown value has been destroyed after an inferno burnt down a dormitory at Kabianga Boys High School in Belgut.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire began when the students were in classrooms for their evening classes.
Students are said to have noticed a huge cloud of smoke billowing from the dormitory and raised an alarm.
This attracted other students and members of staff who rushed out and attempted to put out the inferno.
Firefighters from the county and James Finlay company joined the team to help put out the fire.
The cause of the inferno is yet to be established.
