DP Ruto bodyguards found at Sudis home transferred to Bondo, Homa Bay, Mandera

Three presidential escort officers attached to Deputy President William Ruto have been transferred over their presence at the home of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.

The officers; Chief Inspector Amos Ekiru and Constables Issack Dida and Simon Siengo were found at Sudi’s home when police raided the premises on September 11 to arrest him over allegations of hate speech and incitement

Chief Inspector Ekiru has been transferred to Bondo while constables Dida and Siengo have been moved to Mandera and Homa Bay respectively.

Reports indicated that the three had escorted the deputy president to his Sugoi home before they went to Sudi’s home in Eldoret.

On the same day, police staged a raid at the controversial legislator’s home where the three were found while armed.

They failed to explain how and why they were at the MP’s home at that time.

They were summoned for grilling before the decision to transfer them was made.
