DP Ruto camps in Migori, promises more goodies

Deputy President William Ruto says that the country risks losing the development momentum if it votes for the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) in the August 8, 2017 general Election.

Speaking at Nyametaburo area of Kuria West while drumming up support for the Jubilee Party ahead of the August 8 poll, Ruto called on the Kuria community not to be swayed by the opposition adding that the community will benefit a lot from the Jubilee government in their second term.

He said Kehancha District Hospital in Kuria West Sub County has been allocated Ksh 380 million for upgrading.

The Deputy President insisted that Jubilee has done a lot and is still going to do a lot when given the second chance on August 8, 2017.

The DP said that the Jubilee government, once re-elected, will introduce free secondary education for all secondary school day scholars and increase cash transfer for persons aged 70 years and above as well as vet them to avoid cases of fraud transfer.

In 2013, Jubilee bagged nearly half of the votes in Kuria region despite the region being perceived as an opposition stronghold.
