DP Ruto says he is best suited to succeed President Kenyatta
Deputy President William Ruto says he is best suited to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta, once his second term comes to an end.
Ruto, whose relationship with the president appears to be irretrievably broken, has asked ODM leader Raila Odinga to declare whether he supports the jubilee government or not.
“Mko na wasiwasi kuwa rais akipumzika itakosekana mtu wa kusukuma hii maneno? Mko na wasiwasi kweli…?posed Ruto.
DP Ruto maintains he is best positioned to complete President Kenyatta’s foundation which they have laid together since 2013.
In Nyandarua County he attended a church service at the Africa Inland Church, Engineer in Kinangop, after which he questioned the credibility of Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka, indicating that they had not yet disclosed their plans for the country and were riding on the presidents’ support.
The DP asked Kenyans not to panic over incomplete programmes, saying they will be completed.
“I assure you that the programmes that we began with President Kenyatta will not stall,” said Ruto.
