DP William Ruto Back From The Hague

While in The Hague Mr. Ruto also represented President Kenyatta at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

During the forum, Ruto urged a congregation of African leaders to seek solutions for their problems and change the narrative that Africa is a continent that cannot solve its own problems.

Ruto pointed out that it was failure by leaders to find solutions that depicted Africa as a continent afflicted by disease, poverty, catastrophe and underdevelopment.

The leaders present included Presidents Paul Kagame (Rwanda), Ibrahim Boubacar (Mali), Alpha Conde (Guinea) and Ivory Coast Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan and the President of African Development Bank Donald Kaberuka.

The leaders also discussed ideas that could accelerate inclusive growth and sustainable development for Africa.
