DPP orders immediate interrogation of Sonko over ‘acting President’ remarks
Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has ordered the Police to immediately interrogate Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko after he allegedly declared himself the acting President of Kenya yesterday.
In a memo addressed to Inspector of Police Joseph Boinett, Tobiko has quoted videos from the various TV stations terming the Senator’s conduct as “disruptive”.
Sonko is alleged to have made the utterances yesterday in Athi River, Machakos County during the burial of the husband to former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti, Dolamu Oduwole.
