Drugs For Sex Workers

The Kenya Union of Clinical Officers wants a controversial government programme to provide free HIV and Aids pills to commercial sex workers halted. The programme that will cost tax payers about sh4 billion, will see healthy sex workers given drugs as a HIV and Aids preventive measure, but union officials say it would be difficult to account for the funds since prostitution is illegal.
